How often are PCs expected to die/be dying per tier? https://t.co/0t6XO5q911 DnD

I think we generally need to let go of this whole idea of “expected” results in our #dnd game. 5e, unlike previous versions, is much more fluid in how things will work out when we run our games. This fluidity can make the game a lot more exciting for all of us. https://t.co/ZtBpenaGiv

YES! This! 5e is designed to create chaos at the table, but ideally a manageable chaos that produces punches you can roll with. https://t.co/5JmJJyeOOc

Whoa? The players aren’t supposed to die a certain number of times per tier? I’ve been DMing all wrong and just dropping rocks on them every other session to wipe the whole party. oh no that's totally legit. you're good. especially if you make them buy new PHBs for each character.
