If you work in tabletop games, you really need to look at how Games Workshop is rolling out the new edition of Age of Sigmar. Masterful work across the board.

What are they doing that’s so admirable? I’ve been hearing about this for a little bit now.

A few things:
1. Rules changes that are clear upgrades
2. Nifty new magic system that builds on existing rules
3. Updates for existing models included in the annual game update (General’s Handbook)I’m leaving nothing behind, getting great new models, and playing a better game. https://t.co/JRhr9BjZxB

We’re no where near 6th edition D&D, but if we get there this is how I’d like it to play out. Zero disruption to what you’re already doing, just new toys to make your game better.

I’d mostly call it “extremely confusing” and “hard to follow”. I keep wanting to get into it, but I can’t make heads or tails of what books/digital books via app/free download from cursed websites that you can only find if you already know where it is/etc that I need. The new boxed set cleans this up, I believe. The 40k one they did last year was a really good starting point.
