can I ask you Matt as someone who is about to embark on a potentially big campaign. How did you choose the number threshold for starting stats rolled for your players (I think it’s 75?) Rather than a lower/higher number? Just looking for some ideas. Thanks It can go many ways! A threshold works (75, or 70 I’ve used), or a minimum. Point buy works wonders as well. Even if a wildly erratic score spread doesn’t reach a threshold, allowing the player to choose then for some curious “low” stats is fun

@matthewmercer when my table rolls stats, if <70 total they reroll so they don't feel weak. In light of @WillingBlam 's apparent rolls, do you think this is a good rule? Good luck Thursday!

I think it’s a good rule that I’ve used variations of before. Also, don’t listen to Travis. He rolled fine. He’s just whining because his wife had stupid luck rolling, and I’m sure she’s been rubbing it in his face. 😉 https://t.co/SGcmazm5VV

Have you considered point buy? Or do you all just prefer the thrill of rolling? The thriiiiill

Aaaand this is why the point system is superior, just saying. Superior for extreme fairness. No where near as fun and thrilling, though! 😉
