Oh it’s scheduling alright. At least you can get through it and pass the inevitably long wait for the first game by learning the rules (which can be a lot of fun)! Learning the rules is fun when someone is teaching them

Definitely scheduling. I’m very lucky in having a large group of friends who like to play, and a wife who has fallen in love with DM’ing, but we all work and live varying distances from each other, so the scheduling is a pain in the arse. Heavy is the head that wears the DM mantle. You are lucky to have a secondary one in the house
