Since nonmagical items are less complicated to craft than their magical counterparts, would an Artificer be able to craft nonmagical items in less time and at lower cost than normal? Thanks in advance! No. Bear in mind that when an artificer creates a magic item they often aren’t creating the base item itself. When an artificer creates a Cloak of Many Fashions, they usually start by buying a mundane cloak, not by weaving one. They excel at the ENCHANTMENT.
