Blood Hunter question: Is activating Crimson Rite considered slashing or magical damage? If slashing, would a Barbarian/Blood Hunter multiclass take half damage on activation if they were raging before activating the rite? No damage type, as you are “losing hit points” instead of taking damage. Thus, resistances have no bearing on it.
