Paragraph 1 – What is the Range of the Help action? 5 ft? Unlimited?
Paragraph 2 – Which ally gets advantage on the first attack roll? Next to hit? Your choice? Is there a range limit for the Ally? 1. Depends on the context and what you're doing to help. DM's call. If it's something you can shout encouragement for, cool. If you have to hand them a screwdriver, within your reach.

2. You're aiding a specific ally, against a specific target.
