Advice for ANY hobby. To avoid feeling overwhelmed and then never making progress:

Make a list of like two or three or even ONE thing you want to learn next. Then you can spend some time learning that thing, cross it off your list, and you made progress!

Lists are great!

Like, for Dusk, I might just make a note: “Design the next encounter.” That’s it. One encounter. Easy.

But it’s so easy, I’ll actually DO it. And then I’ve made progress and I feel good so I’m looking forward to designing the NEXT encounter! Modular Synthesis is EASY to get overwhelmed with. I made a list every time I fired up the time rider. Sometimes after the fact! "Shit I Figured Out""

Now I have a note: "Figure out how to delete patterns and parts and songs from the Eloquencer." Just one thing. But progress!
