One of my favorite DMisms is saying “roleplay amongst yourselves” whenever I need to briefly step away from the table, regardless of whether we’re actively playing. Have to retrieve a mini? "Roleplay amongst yourselves."
Using the restroom? "Roleplay amongst yourselves."
Leaving a table at a restaurant? "Roleplay amongst yourselves."
