Staying on the scary #dnd theme here. As you all start to ponder the darkness waiting in the new #ravenloft book, here were some early (more disturbing) visual thoughts on the demon Nabassu. A fantastic fiend for a dark campaign (in Mordenkainen’s Tome of Foes) 1/3 It makes for a good 'monster in the darkness' vibe. I have it engineer mass deaths then devour the souls, growing stronger with each devouring. Give it some utility spells (inivs, dimension door, hold person) to make it a serious boss. 2/3

I like to think Nabassu 'hitch hike' on summons. Next time that warlock summons his 'x' from the abyss, maybe he gets a little something extra. Maybe, have the Nabassu be thankful for the ride. Maybe he tips the driver before he disappears into the darkness. 3/3
