Hi @HellcowKeith #dnd #Eberron question about couatls. The ECS entry on p. 303 says they were from Xen’drik and fought the demon lords of Khorvaire and Sarlona. But DOE p. 8 says they’re from Sarlona (Probably for Khalesh reasons?). Is this a revision? Personally, I think it’s a mistake to assign geographic regions to the couatl. They are the native celestials of Eberron. The Silver Flame encompasses all of Eberron today; I see no reason the couatl wouldn’t be found across the world in the past.

So I’d say this is a mistake, but it’s also a pretty trivial one, since it’s talking about events that occurred over a hundred thousand years ago and any remaining couatl can appear anywhere.

Are any other named coautls besides the Golden Serpent and Hezcalipa?Not that I’m aware of. IME I’ve said that Kloijner is a couatl, its spirit bound into the sword. But that’s not canon.
