Any DMs out there had a player try and pull a coffeelock on them? What did you rule? #dnd Easy fix. Font of Magic spell slots fade after long rest or after 24 hours, whichever comes first.
Easier fix: Talk to my player about not trying to break the game.

Gets a little trickier in org play. Then the exhaustion fix, and managing short rests (no, you can’t take 8 one-hr short rests in a row) become more feasible.

Warlock/sorcerer with the “you don’t have to sleep” Invocation to cheese short rests and sorcery points.
People equate no sleep to not needing to long rest, so they stack up extra spell slots, refresh on short rest w/Pact Magic.

*equate no sleep to not needing to long rest*
Yeah, this is one of the interesting questions. But the Xanathar's optional exhaustion rule would not apply to warforged as written in WGtE (I don't think)

Whatever, if the rules are all kosher after being studied for closing the loophole, then I allow it. The party is playing cooperatively after all, and I the DM just alter the balance of enemies a little bit to adjust for the more powerful Warlock/Sorcerer. It wouldn’t be a big deal even if I didn’t adjust the enemies, the Warlock/Sorcerer’s allies are still just as weak/or powerful from before. The more resistant one adventurer is, the more the enemies focus on the weaker ones.
