Any suggestions on how to handle monks spamming stunning strike on legendary monsters? Give them more targets it will be valuable and fun to stun.

A monk can burn through all three in one turn. If you're looking to houserule, how about if a creature uses a Legendary Resistance on a given save, it auto succeeds on all instances of that save until the start of its next turn?

How about just make the monster immune to stun if it fits thematically? That'll protect that monster for sure, but is a bit low-hanging fruit and definitely not fun for the monk player.

Whats an adult Red Dragon’s con save again? been watching a lot of Critical Role lately and their party monk spends ki like quarters at an arcade on stunning strike. it can pay off, but its a BIG resource drain. Especially vs high con enemies. +13

OOF A level 20 Monk with 20 Wis has a 19 Save DC. The Dragon has a 70% success rate (right?). As a DM im really not worried, especially with 3 legendary resistances in my pocket. And with that fly speed, hows that monk even in range! Yes, tis a corner case, but the example standsAlso if your level 20 monk is fighting an adult red dragon we shouldn't be surprised when the party wipes the floor with it.
The ancient has a Con save of +16.
