@mattcolville I’m planning a 3.5 game for the first time since 2019. Any Tips for planning a first session with the rest of the campaign in mind?

I wouldn’t worry too much about the rest of the campaign. I’d make something that’s easy and fun for you to run. If you’re excited about the encounters and npcs, then you’ll have fun running it, and your players are more likely to have fun playing it. You got plenty of time to figure out what the rest of the campaign is about later!
