All this snow has us thinking about winter D&D games… anyone ever played a campaign set in a cold climate, either fully or partially? did you do anything special rules-wise regarding survival in such conditions? curious for a possible future thing… I'm playing in a Rime of the Frostmaiden game right now, the environment has been our biggest foe so far!
The extreme cold rules are a pervasive tone-setter. The threat of avalanches in the mountains is tense, and I love using weather like blizzards to spice up encounters.
