Are bicycles a column r uncommon occurrence on Faerun? Does Elminster use this mode of transportation? VERY rare. Bicycles as we know them require smooth roads, and much of the Realms lacks those, so far. There are tricycle-carts (mainly in the cities of Calimshan and Amn).
