The Arcane Firearm feature doesn't turn an object into a magic item. #DnD https://t.co/cxGBKic3sm

The way I read it only works on an already magic item 🤔

The rods, staffs, and wands in D&D can be magical or nonmagical.
For the nonmagical kind, take a look at the Adventuring Gear table in the Player's Handbook (p. 150). For the magical kind, consult the Dungeon Master's Guide. #DnD https://t.co/u3ySAFg1bW

Thanks for responding, @JeremyECrawford.
To clarify: You can only infuse mundane / non-magical items, but you *can* turn a magic item into an Arcane Firearm?

Arcane Firearm doesn't prohibit or require using a magic item.
If a feature prohibits or requires anything, the feature's text says so. #DnD https://t.co/a8LZ17nFZy
