Assuming that you had a 3-4 hour game night roughly once per week, how long would your ideal RPG campaign last for? For me, my ideal campaign would last about a year. In practise, they tend to go on for much, much longer than that (most often due to changing life circumstances – a hiatus of a few months, people moving house, kids, etc). Shorter and more focused arcs is what I’m leaning to now.

1-1.5 years. But… I also love 4 weeks. That’s my second favorite duration. Feels much longer, let’s you try out a cool idea/game/setting.
