@dbroccoliman @mikemearls @ChrisPerkinsDnD if a feature says “when you reach __ level” does that refer to class or character level? #DnD It depends on the wording of the feature.

What happens if a character gets a second 2nd level aid spell cast on them?
@JeremyECrawford What happens if a character gets a second 2nd level aid spell cast on them, do they 'heal' 5 HP again and duration reset?

You can't benefit from the same spell at the same time. See "Combining Magical Effects" (PH, 205). #DnD https://t.co/AX2foEDiQ3

Why are darts not monk weapons?
@JeremyECrawford Why are darts not monk weapons? The Monk starts with 10 of them.

A class's starting equipment is a mix: optimal, situational & narratively appropriate. It has no bearing on how a class's features work #DnD https://t.co/09MzFfAKrd

@Mazoshi1987Just to point this out there. Darts are a simple weapon and monks are trained in simple weapons so they are a monk weapon. Take another look at the Martial Arts feature. It doesn't say all simple weapons.

@JeremyECrawford Wow been read up rules and talking with other since 5e came out and none of us saw that. I would allow it though.

@Mazoshi1987Does this work for daggers though as technically they are melee with a thrown property? Daggers are melee weapons.

Does copying a spell into a wizard’s spellbook costing 50gp apply to the 2 spells?
@jefcozzaDoes the rule about copying a spell into a wizard’s spellbook costing 50gp apply to the 2 spells learned when you level up? Those spells are free.

Curious about the environments of the creatures in Volo's Guide to Monsters? See "Creatures by Environment" (p. 222) in that very book. #DnD https://t.co/j1qIEgIhCX

Remember: you can take only one reaction per round…
@thomas_conners“Remember that you can take only one reaction per round.” Why is the only place this is mentioned the entry for Ready? Take a look at the rule for reactions (PH, 190).
— Jeremy Crawford (@JeremyECrawford) November 24, 2016
@thomas_conners No mention of a hardlimit of 1/round. It says they reset at the start of your next turn. I ask because of Theif’s Relfex’s. There's no "they." You take one, and you can't take another till the start of your next turn.

Why does the Neogi Master have a d6 HD despite being medium sized?
@DorianXander @mikemearlsWhy does the Neogi Master have a d6 HD despite being medium sized? It's a goof. The creature was Small at one point. We changed the size but not the HD. Has no effect on CR here.

A beholder’s antimagic cone suppresses its own eye rays, what about its ongoing rays?
@JeremyECrawford A beholder's antimagic cone suppresses its own eye rays. But, what about its ongoing fx like Charm, Fear, Petrification?
— wyndll (@wyndll) November 19, 2016
Ongoing magical effects, such as the beholder's charm, are suppressed in the beholder's Antimagic Cone. #DnD https://t.co/QHkf3uku6p
