@ArravisDruugirSo, any clarity on when the poison condition is used for poisons in the DMG and the basic poison in the PHB? Unless something specifically mentions the poisoned condition in its effect, it doesn't use the condition.

Warlocks rituals and the Tome of Ancient Secrets
@JRobsonSF @JeremyECrawford @mikemearlsWhat would happen to a warlocks rituals if she replaced the Tome of Ancient Secrets invocation? I'd rule they'd be unusable. It is Book of Ancient Secrets that grants the ability to cast rituals.

Beast Master Ranger balance
@o_scheeckHi. Quick question: do you guys feel Beast Master Ranger is fine/balanced as is, compared to other classes? It’s hard to compare a subclass to others without knowing the context: social interaction, exploration, or combat.

Sage Advice: Master Jeremy is right, it depends on context and your DM campaign.
If your adventure is in a multi level mega dungeon could be an hard task for Rangers, Druids and, if dungeon is very narrow, casters that can’t use their area effects/long distance spells.
But the problem could be similar in a city, where is more important to be sneaky or charismatic : area effect caster or Barbarians could be very cumbersome.
So my advice is to talk with your DM before campaign start and decide together wich classes could be better for all of you.
Awakened Mind
@JRobsonSFHow does the Awakened Mind works on the target’s mind? Is it a voice? Can it be changed? Can I play with target’s sanity? It's communication of information–nothing more. The DM might rule otherwise, of course, but nothing in the text implies a voice.

Leomund’s Tiny Hut
@Rugholm86Hi, Quick Q: “Leomund’s Tiny Hut” can creatures with Ethereal Jaunt enter? It’s force but it doesn’t say like Force Cage does. Since forcecage specifically calls out the Ethereal Plane, I'd rule that Leomund's tiny hut can be entered via the Ethereal plane

The King of Dungeon Masters, Chris Perkins, gives a blast from the past, something from an ancient tome called Fiend Folio: here are described the four Elemental Princes of Evil that will be in the upcoming campaign adventure Princes of the Apocalypse.
Master Chris is giving suggest me another thought : Princes of the Apocalypse adventure narrates about 4 Elemental Evil Prophets that are linked with their Princes of Evil, here their connection:
- AERISI KALINOTH, the Air Prophet ⇒ Yan-C-Bin (Prince of Evil Aerial Creatures)
- MARLOS URNRAYLE, the Earth Prophet ⇒ Ogrémoch (Prince of Evil Earth Creatures)
- VANIFER, the Fire Prophet ⇒ lmix (Prince of Evil Fire Creatures)
- GAR SHATTERKEEL, the Water Prophet ⇒ Olhydra (Princessof Evil Water Creatures)
If you want to dig in the knowledge about The Four Elemental Princes of Evil you need to search their alias: The Archomental.
In Planescape settings there’s the Planescape Monstrous Compendium Appendix III that well describes all of them and their relationship with the Tharizdun/The Dark God/Elder Elemental God, they are powerful but not demigod, they grant spell to their followers and yes, they can be slain.
If you want to play now a good prequel of Prince of the Apocalypse you can play Egg of the Phoenix adventure module where player characters must recover a powerful artifact and save an entire land from destruction by the Princes of the Elemental Evil.
Other references about four Princes are
- Dragon Magazine #285 article with new Elemental Evil monsters, how to fight against Elemental Evil and new EE spells
- Return to the Temple of Elemental Evil adventure module that is an immense adventure for charcter 4-14 level

There’s only an unanswered question: where’s the fifth prince? The real son of the Elder Elemental God, Cryonax, Prince of Evil Cold Creatures???
If your PC’s philosophy differs from the rest of the group do you roll up a new one?
If your PC’s philosophy differs from the rest of the group do you roll up a new one, conform to the group or see how much you can get away with behind their backs? Don't be a menace to your own group. I've had people who try to split the group and someone's character dies and people get pissed. It's a team game, play nice with other kids in the sandbox. That said, don't let that get in the way of a great character.
