Beast Master: you can command your beast to take the attack action after which you can attack. Does this count as the attack action for the purpose of being able to bonus action attack as a two weapon fighter?

@JeremyECrawford Question about the PHB Beast Master Ranger. At level 5 you can command your beast to take the attack action after which you can attack. Does this count as the attack action for the purpose of being able to bonus action attack as a two weapon fighter? Thanks!!

Commanding the beast isn’t using the Attack action.

On a personal note I’ve treated it as if it is in my own campaigns and it’s worked out well for me.
