Clarifications on spells!

For example, Catapult: does the magic propel the object in a straight line or in an arc? Doesn’t come up often but would solve a bet.

Misty Step: If carrying a creature can you bring them? From an ant to a Goliath, where is the line drawn? Catapult: The specifics of the trajectory are really up to the DM/table to figure out if it matters.

Misty Step: It doesn't let you take creatures with you at all, no matter what size.
