In creature stat blocks, how are things arranged for special traits for 5e. Sometimes I see it in ABC order other times such as Shapechanger and sunlight sensitivity come first. Invisibility is another. Generally – alphabetical, but designer might consider something important enough to put it earlier

who’s idea was it to make the Well in the Yawning Portal so big? Who ever it was probably looked into the future and saw my frustration with trying to build a 3d interpretation of it.. and was like “his headache makes this all worth it.” It was that size when I first imagined it. In 1965, when I was six.
But I was a model railroader back then, modelling things with wood and cardboard and all sorts of odds and ends, and it was the candle-wheel chandeliers in the Portal that gave me headaches, not the well. ;}

I’m feeling happy with psionics at this stage – concept is that a psionic cantrip creates a virtual construct that you then use as-is for cantrip-level power, or augment with spell slots to achieve greater effects.

Example: As an action I use Psionic Eye, a cantrip that gives me a perception buff and uses concentration. I can burn a 1st level slot for the eye to reveal invisible or hidden creatures within 10 feet of me for 1 minute.

The summoning cantrip creates your imaginary friend that has limited abilities, but with spell slots you can turn it into a nightmare beast that claws peoples minds to shreds.

So is it safe to say that unearthed arcana psionic mechanics are pretty much scrapped? Mostly – will pick through to find stuff, but the feedback was just too strong against it to push ahead on that path. However, I want to capture the concepts covered there as much as I can.

Do Teddy Bears exist in Forgotten Realms?

Hullo Mr. Greenwood. Was pondering something today: do Teddy Bears exist in Faerun, and if so, do the locals call them anything other than “stuffed toy bears”? Stuffed toys and comfort cuddlers for adults exist in the Realms, but very seldom bears (and of course, not "Teddy Bears"=no Roosevelt). In everyday speech, they're "softfurries." and most are shaped like kittens or like Piglet from the Pooh tales (sewn in a gingerbread man pose)

By the way, Cormyr bans such things in the Palace and Royal court buildings. Too many poison vials, gas vials, and daggers were sewn into various "innocent toys" in the past.
