Hi. About Shadow Blade and Extended Spell together…
Does it make the sword qualify to become my Pact of the Blade weapon?
Thanks in advance! The duration of shadow blade has no effect on how Pact of the Blade works.— Jeremy Crawford (@JeremyECrawford) August 1, 2018

Will Eberron be an official product and AL-legal?
When it reaches final edition, will that edition be an official product and AL-legal?

this edition is official, and we are working through the details needed to make it AL legal without interfering with the upcoming Waterdeep season

“Vizier, what’s your advice on THIS?”
1)
“Vizier,” the Emperor snarled, “what’s your advice on THIS?”
The tall counselor looked down at the diplomatic pouch that had just been opened. And the reeking pile of wet dung it contained.
His expression remained calm.#epic fantasy— Ed Greenwood (@TheEdVerse) July 13, 2018
2)
“My counsel, Your Supremity, is: check the address first. It may have been meant for someone else to receive.”
The Emperor glowered. “Done. There’s been no mistake.”
The Vizier nodded. “Then a measured response is indicated.”#epic fantasy— Ed Greenwood (@TheEdVerse) July 13, 2018
3)
“You’re going to MEASURE this dung?”
“Oh, yes. And send precisely a hundred times as much, by weight, back to the—” The Vizier peered. “—King of Duinbarnde. Dragon-drop, on his head, as he crosses his courtyard. Fatal.”#epic fantasy— Ed Greenwood (@TheEdVerse) July 13, 2018
4)
“And then Duinbarnde will march to war on us!”
“Oh, I doubt it. He’s even more hated by his populace than y—most rulers. They’ll cheer, fight each other over who’ll be the next king, and leave us alone for a bit.”#epic fantasy— Ed Greenwood (@TheEdVerse) July 13, 2018
5)
“That’s…that’s brilliant!”
“Mere statecraft, Your Supremity. Allow me to remove this offensive…ammunition.”#epic fantasy— Ed Greenwood (@TheEdVerse) July 13, 2018
Is it true? You are calling it the Psion and not the Mystic?
is it true? You are calling it the Psion and not the Mystic? Bless you if it is. Honor the 70s era sci-fantasy origins. I am thereby blessed, for it is true!

How Laeral is “no longer an archmage”?
Almost done Death Masks, and I’m wondering about how Laeral is “no longer an archmage”. In the narrative, Laeral’s loss of power is attributed to the centuries wearing her down, but it is also remarked that all wizards are now weaker. I take it that this is (1/2) All Chosen and servitors of deities are weaker in 5e (not to mention divine avatars) as the gods "step back" from daily involvement in the lives of mortals…because the Sundering "went so well" (ahem).

What’s your favorite Ravnica guild?
Working on the Guildmasters' Guide to Ravnica, even in a limited capacity, has renewed my appreciation for collaborative world-building. The texture of the setting is really something. #WOTCstaff

I always wondered where the name Breland came from?
That's awesome! The name Breland emerged when @aquelajames, @ChrisPerkinsDnD Keith! Thanks so much for the Wayfinders Guide! Now that I have Eberron fever again, I gotta ask what I always wondered – – where the name Breland came from? I was shocked to find my name in your setting! 😉 and Bill Slavicsek and I were all brainstorming; I honestly don't remember exactly how we settled on it. So let's say it was to honor you.
