Is there a line of effect and does Wall of Force block it?
@pokereleranIs there a line of effect in D&D and does Wall of Force block it? in general, a barrier that stops physical objects stops spells

@geeniusatwrok @pokereleranWait, would that even include a glass window? not if the spell says you need to see the target #wotcstaff
— (((Mike Mearls))) (@mikemearls) September 29, 2016
@geeniusatwrok @pokereleranBut you can see through a wall of force. I assumed spells could be cast through it, even though it blocks missiles. misunderstood q – would block physical effect of spell but not mess with targeting that needs sight #wotcstaff

What’s the best way to introduce new PCs in Curse of Strahd?
@ChrisPerkinsDnD what's the best way to introduce new PCs in CoS? Assuming that they don't want to play as Ezmerelda or any other NPC
— Tom Green (@FarrageBarrage) September 12, 2016
They can be adventurers trapped in Barovia. Maybe their previous party was turned into vampire spawn. #WOTCstaff https://t.co/LGYjkqNXGI

Do you have a personal favorite monster?
@ChrisPerkinsDnD Do you have a personal favorite monster? I'm a huge fan of Illithids, but rarely have the opportunity to use them.

I'm fond of liches. (Autocorrect thinks I mean lichens, which are also pretty cool.) #WOTCstaff https://t.co/4H4ZwRqCzf

If a monster has 2 different reaches, when does it get opportunity attacks?
If a monster has 2 different reaches, when does it get opportunity attacks? Like the roc’s talons at 5 feet and beak at 10.
If you have more than one reach, a foe provokes an opportunity attack when it leaves any of them. #DnD https://t.co/tg4tGMDF0B
— Jeremy Crawford (@JeremyECrawford) April 27, 2016
@samiam8910Isn’t this directly against your official SA article from July 2015? The SA answer is only about making an opportunity attack with the reach weapon, not with another reach you might have.
— Jeremy Crawford (@JeremyECrawford) October 3, 2016
@samiam8910So the book is incorrect in saying OAs are for when leaving your reach when it should be your weapons’ reach? “Your reach” means whatever reach of yours is relevant at the moment.
