@gandhi39“At the same time” in elemental affinity (sorcerer) refers to casting the spell or to reaching 6th level? #DnD It refers to casting the spell.

Does the Martial Adept feat give an additional D8 superiority dice to battlemaster fighters?
@TrippyGameDoes the Martial Adept feat give an additional D8 superiority dice to battlemaster fighters, or is it just an extra D6? it's one of whatever type the fighter now has; also upgrades with the fighter's other ones

Is a dead or unconscious creature?
@mikemearls @JeremyECrawford #5e is a dead or unconscious creature officially an object?
— d20pfsrd.com (@d20pfsrd) July 12, 2016
@d20pfsrd @JeremyECrawford I think it by rules remains a creature, but I'd treat them as an object if that made for a funnier game
— (((Mike Mearls))) (@mikemearls) July 12, 2016
A corpse is an object. An unconscious creature is a creature. #DnD https://t.co/Sa6FI3NqYB

A PC wants to hatch and raise the red dragon, can proper care shift its alignment ?
@ChrisPerkinsDnD A PC wants to hatch and raise the red dragon in OotA. Innately evil, or can proper care shift its alignment from CE to CN?
— Travis Board (@TJBoard) July 6, 2016
With a great deal of effort, one can curb a red wyrmling's evil nature and alter the dragon's alignment. https://t.co/JiECM8P6K8

Glyph of Warding on a shield
@mikemearls glyph of warding plyer wants to use shield or Frisbee disc as surface to avoid 10ft move restriction. RAW/RAI of the spell?
— Bryan Geek (@Gilwenlive) July 5, 2016
Alas, an object is not a surface. A death Frisbee is a pretty cool idea, though. https://t.co/ugdBYxm18x
— (((Mike Mearls))) (@mikemearls) July 5, 2016
@AllThingsDnDSo why is a table a surface and not an object? And why does the spell specify “within an object that can be closed”? surface is the tabletop. Objects that can be closed – can set to trigger when opened, glyph doesn't need to be outside
— (((Mike Mearls))) (@mikemearls) July 5, 2016
@sheehanmilesk @Gilwenliveat what point does a surface become an object? Is a wood floor a surface? What if I take the floor with me if you can move it, it's an object can can't go more than 10 feet from casting point
— (((Mike Mearls))) (@mikemearls) July 5, 2016
@mikemearls @Gilwenlive so confused. Objects have a surface by normal English usage, so what do YOU mean by surface?
— gabriel elliot marks (@grippygecko) July 6, 2016
Glylph of warding specifically refers to a Microsoft Surface when it says surface. Please update accordingly. https://t.co/p0bYk6RvoT
— (((Mike Mearls))) (@mikemearls) July 6, 2016
@MarkSparklFarkl yes

@mikemearls So we can safely touch and iPad without fear of a glyph? Good to know…
— Zombie Joe (@Zombie_Joe) July 6, 2016
As long as it's not my iPad, pal! https://t.co/IkH5o5Rme5
— (((Mike Mearls))) (@mikemearls) July 6, 2016
@grippygecko @JesterOC @Gilwenliverules aren’t explicit, that’s the problem. Could you glyph a wall in a 5′ sq room hidden behind a cloak? yes
— (((Mike Mearls))) (@mikemearls) July 7, 2016
@grippygecko @platostotle @Gilwenlivebut also books, drawers, cupboards, chests. These are much smaller. Can you glyph ANY concealed object? yes
— (((Mike Mearls))) (@mikemearls) July 7, 2016
Would you encourage your players to dress as their character?
@ChrisPerkinsDnD As for personal DnD games, would you encourage your players to dress as their character or do you prefer streetclothes?
— Kaleigh Farrelly (@allourmaka) July 9, 2016
I don't make my players wear costumes, but they're certainly free to do so. https://t.co/UWyh9NurqE

Can a market-savvy Rogue re-appraise an object to give it a higher value?
@mikemearls Material Component question: Can a party with a market-savvy Rogue re-appraise a component to give it a higher value?
— Dee Pennyway (@DPennyway) June 28, 2016
I'd consider it, but only if the PCs took active efforts to corner the market. https://t.co/2bBEkxuoJK

Got any good tips on minimizing prep time?
@ChrisPerkinsDnD got any good tips on minimizing prep time that I can use as a teacher who tends to over-prepare for class?
— Mahriana Rofheart (@MRofheart) July 8, 2016
I over-prepared when I was a teacher, but shaping young minds is important! Blowing up monsters, less so. https://t.co/IViHNl2jQe
