@HoughtonAlrecently read an article that said if the d20 roll + mods = 20 or more 4 death save, character gains 1hp. PHB is different. The article is incorrect on that point.

@HoughtonAldoes things like cloak of protection add to the save? I.e. PC wearing cloak rolls a 9, they succeed? Yes.

@JRobsonSFjoining factions in LMoP. Whats in it for the PCs? Couldnt find any duty or benefit related to any faction in the whole book. it's a tool for the DM to build on stuff beyond LMoP

@Durin_pIf a player is not there for an encounter, but the character is, does the character recieve all the same Xp? It depends on the DM. I award 1/2 xp.
