Confused by high CR monsters vs. PCs, How do the charts differ for solos?

@SlyFlourish confused by high CR monsters vs. PCs. 6:1 seems above the 5:1 I’d expect from an equal CR. How do the charts differ for solos? multi chart divides XP as per original rules, nudges rounding a bit IIRC #wotcstaff
