@JeremyECrawford Demogordon in Out of Abyss: it has more HP and damage output × attack in comparison to the version into Mordenkainen Tome of Foes, but I see the same CR in both versions! Why? Which is correct?

The stat blocks in an adventure are designed for that adventure. Most adventures have some stat blocks we'd like to share with a broader audience, so we take those stat blocks, revise them for general play, and include them in a book like "Mordenkainen's Tome of Foes." #DnD https://t.co/oVj3Gp30aE
