Q for other DMs out there: do you level up your player’s PCs for them or do you trust them to handle it? I prefer to be present for all Hitpoint rolls, but leave the rest up to them (with an occasional character audit)

Not Evil Matt-how soon after starting with your players did you let them level up? I’m playing w/ 6 brand new players and its been working out for us for me to make their sheet and ask for new spells, feats, etc.
