Do the Changeling of Lost who can shapeshift into animals gain the statistics of said animal? Would they be able to fly as a bird? bite with the force of a wolf? Or run with the speed of a cheetah? A changeling who can assume animal forms is known as a “menagerie”, and the ability is mechanically similar to Wild Shape. A player who wants to play a menagerie can do it by playing a changeling druid; it’s just a different explanation for how their Wild Shape works.
