Do you all have a checklist or general guidelines when determining spell balance, similar to the CR system for making your own creatures? If not, can you share some insight to what sort of things you consider when introducing a new spell in D&D 5e? DMG pg 283 "Creating a Spell" and the spell damage table on 284 do a ton of heavy lifting and pretty much the deal.
