quick question from a person hoping to be a DM one day – do you always consider 10 to be an average DC? Is it dependent on player character level or the specific scenario? I only ask because the “medium” DC prescribed by the PHB is 15. Thanks in advance! I consider 10 the average challenge for a regular, non-adventurer (and easy for a heroic character). “Medium” would be a step up, imo.
