Do you end up running test game sessions that are pretty sterile, just to evaluate balance/effects of rule changes, or do you just work those things into a typical campaign? (Or some combination thereof?)

A mix – this is a campaign for fun. Stuff for testing we usually do one-shot scenarios. Was testing some new mass combat rules, ran a session where the players had to defend a fortified manner. Story always needs to be part of it, though. https://t.co/X2kWaAcQro
