Maybe a summary here and more detail in a DM so you can type a longer message? I was mostly curious about names so I could call the vampiric curse something like the Eberron equivalent of “The ‘Gift’ of Strahd.” The logical source under the circumstances is Erandis Vol, a lich known as the “Queen of Death.” She’s the greatest active necromancer in #Eberron and has manipulated Karrnath by transforming a number of nobles into vampires.
