Does Hurl Through Hell include spell attacks?

@JeremyECrawford the Hurl Through Hell ability for the warlock says when “hit a creature with an attack”. Does this include spell attacks?

and an unarmed strike is a weapon attack, even though “unarmed” isn’t a weapon, right?Correct.
