Possible error in one of your answers where it may contradict RAW. You say that Stinking cloud still allows you to use a bonus action even though it robs you of your action, but PHB Pg189 says anything that deprives you of your ability to take actions ALSO prevents bonus actions Or is this different because Stinking cloud says "the creature spends its action that turn retching and reeling" so you *technically* still "have" an action, just that the only thing you can do with it is forced?

Stinking cloud mandates what you do with your action. It doesn't take away your ability to take actions.
