Does the Fighting Style Archery give a +2 bonus to ranged attacks made with thrown weapons?

@HowitzerHauser Does the Fighting Style Archery, from the Fighter class, give a +2 bonus to ranged attacks made with thrown weapons ex. daggers?there's no harm in allowing it on ranged attacks, but I think technically they are not ranged weapons. too good in melee

@HowitzerHauser and too good in melee because cover comes up a lot more with ranged attacks, so that counteracts it
