Hey Keith, does this contain information on the treaty that freed the Warforged (and forbids new WF being created)? I’m kicking around a character concept where a Warforged wants to build a future for his race, potentially via loophole in the treaty. No, I don’t think any source delves into the minutes of the Treaty of Thronehold. Warforged are granted freedom and citizenship in the nations they served. I can’t remember if Cannith had to shut down the Creation Forges or actually destroy them.

You can certainly add additional details to the Treaty to drive your story. Creating warforged requires both a working Creation Forge and someone with the Mark of Making trained in its use. Again, perhaps an exceptional PC can find other ways- but that’s the baseline.
