my group is bent on adding durability to armor/ weapons for a “Gritty Realism” game. I say theres no elegant solution, but they insist. Any ideas? My simple rule:
* Each time an attack roll is 20 or higher, reduce an armor’s bonus by 1
* When attacking with a weapon, also roll a d4. If the unmodified roll is less than the d4, give it a -1 penalty to damage
