I am glad to hear it! My friends and I have been exploring the Realms since 1988 and many times we have started new parties at 1356 DR again. Its like returning home. 🙂 Do you refer to published sourcebooks written by other people? Oh, yes. We all add to the grand shared tapestry of the Realms. If it's canon, it's canon for me just like everyone else, and I try to work with it and build off it.
