in the SCAG, it says Elturel’s High Rider was “burned to dust” by the Companion’s light. In BG:DiA, however, it says in 1444 the “holy light… sent the vampire lord scrambling for the shadows.” Given how hard it is to kill vampires, those events are not mutually exclusive. Whether the vampire is still around or not is entirely up to you! #wotcstaff
