I asked Andrew and he said:
“I was really happy to get another legendary dragon from the D&D universe, especially one with such a cool backstory. I leaned into the smoke to heighten his mystery, cunning, and deceptiveness mentioned in the prompt. There was a lot of freedom allowed for the background too, so I got to create a run down temple with broken statues: where exactly is he emerging from?”

This is the Goad deck. Battle shenanigans.
And this dragon is Vengeful Ancestor’s best friend. Obviously Disrupt Decorum will draw you a ton of cards as well and the new equipment dog, Komainu Battle Armor, should be an auto-include.
Commanders like this aren’t CEDH – and they aren’t intended to be. This is wacky combat, politically motivated attacks and choosing your allies. This is casual commander at its best, and it’s a dragon to boot. Firkraag, Cunning Instigator by @andrewkmarAndrew made a color study and an ink study for the Baldurs Gate legendary dragon.
