For Rising From The Last War, @claudiopozas redesigned the symbols of all the Dragonmarked Houses so they'd feel more like things that could be used in the world. Here's the symbol of House Cannith, with the others in the gallery! https://t.co/9ZHMdB7iEV #Eberron #dnd

No slap-dash Tarkanan logo to play with the big Houses? Interesting point! @claudiopozas, have you considered it? Sadly, Exploring Eberron doesn't focus on House Tarkanan, otherwise I'd commission it myself!

I saw those and I’m still not sure what I think… I kinda like the ‘coat of arms’ versions better The point of these – as @ChaosOS_59 has observed – was wanting something that felt like you could find it stamped on a crate or on a business sign, since it's how you're supposed to see it in the world. So a flat, easily monochrome image was an important goal.

I hadn’t, but I might try my hand at it. The trick is imagining what style Tarkanan would use. Sivis uses a traditional heraldric style (which I call Galifarian), which is used by Cannith, Tharashk, Vadalis. Kundarak is Dwarven art-deco. Would Tarkanan mimic that? House Tarkanan is in many ways mocking the existing houses with its title, so I'd personally expect it to be a simpler, cruder design – something like a gang sign you could imagine painted on a crumbling wall in Callestan.
