Old Snout had been ancient before the mountains around his lair had names. He was older and larger now. And beginning to look bony.
The fire in his eyes was deeper, but burned as hot as Hot enough that the dragonling landing on a peak beside the Aeon Dragon without noticing Old Snout drew back upon seeing he had company.
Ere daring to ask, “Honored Elder, may I tarry here?”
