How do you handle alignment?

Question:
How do you handle alignment? Are you strict, flexible, or do you even use it? I know this can be divisive so let’s keep it clean. Very loosely as time goes on. Motivations can change, and morality situationally fluid. It’s a good guide for newer players, but less necessary to inform character choices once you know them well.
