I was idly thinking how Eberron was built to incorporate the mechanics of 3.5e’s magic item system into its narrative. If you were designing Eberron from the ground up for 5e, how do you think attunement may have influenced Eberron’s internal logic and economy?Common magic items generally don't require attunement. Even moving to uncommon items, I don't think the sort of items that play a role in everyday life are especially transformed by the limitations of attunement; so I don't see it as affecting the broad economy.
