How often, if ever, do you multiclass your #dnd characters?
Tell us about some of them!! 🤗 I have yet to play a 5e multiclass. I find that usually the cost of delayed features and outright sacrificed higher level features steers me always from it.
That said, I have at least one concept I very much want to play that lightly multiclasses to make the play style work.

The only time I have is for my cleric of Cyric, who constantly masquerades as clerics of other gods, so that he could have Vicious Mockery and Dissonant Whispers from taking bard levels. For that I'd have probably taken Magical Initiate (assuming feats were allowed in the game).
Not begrudging your multiclass choice, to be clear. Just musing.

That’s how I usually feel about it. The only one I think I would almost always do is a 2 level dip in fighter for action surge. It’s just soooooo handy to have and all classes could use an action surge.
Incidentally 5/6 of my players all multiclassed at level 6. I was surprised. See, the concept I mentioned starts out fighter 1 then transitions permanently into warlock.
Even that 1 level hurts for delaying warlock features, but it’s the easiest way to get heavy armor and Con save proficiency with the best narrative fit.
