How would you handle taking heavy armor out of the paladin?

@DoctorBadWolfquestion. How would you handle taking heavy armor (preferably all armor) out of the paladin? maybe the monk path, granting Charisma as bonus to AC #WOTCstaff

@DoctorBadWolfthink that works as a simple replacement for armor/shield proficiency? yes – not perfect but close enough #WOTCstaff
