I know there must be numerous characters but do you have a favorite or a couple favorite you liked working with? I've created around 20,000 named characters for the Realms, and they're all part of the tapestry. I try not to play favourites, but if you press me, I'll admit to like writing about Mirt, Storm, Filfaeril, Florin, The Simbul, and the Srinshee. After that, Elminster.#Realmslore

Thank you @TheEdVerse. Wow that’s a lot. I knew the Realms were large but I had no idea that it expanded over 20k characters haha. If I knew I wouldn’t ask such a silly question. I do appreciate you taking the time though. I’m new to the realms I like answering. :}
After fifty-five years, there's a lot piled up under the heading "the Realms." The setting is older than D&D, and started as the place I was telling fantasy stories in just to entertain my young self, so…many characters with stories attached.#Realmslore— Ed Greenwood (@TheEdVerse) March 3, 2021

That is so cool. I am envious of that. I once started writing when I was younger (around the time the LOTR movies were coming out). Realized it sounded just like “the two towers” haha. Kind of gave up. Idea float in every once in a while though.— David (@DavidWSlater89) March 4, 2021
